"Natural cosmetics that are suitable for all skin types and genders without any chemicals."
I decided to develop a corporate design for a fictitious unisex cosmetics/care product brand, which is produced with purely natural ingredients and completely without chemicals. Initially, hand creams, lip balms, soaps and shower gels will be sold. Later, when the products are selling well, it will be possible to consider expanding the range. No intensely "masculine" or "feminine" fragrances will claim the natural product for themselves, but the neutral smell is suitable for everyone. The same goes for the design. This should appeal to all those who pay attention to what they put on their body, but also to those who find the design appealing and are not carried away by pink flower meadows with scattered little bees, or rather masculine dark blue and black packaging. That is why only black and white are used as colors.
The unisex name Lou has its origins in the names Louise and Louis, which in turn both represent the French version of good old Louis. Translated, Lou means something like "the famous fighter". The figurative logo is intended to make it clear that the products are suitable for both sexes to keep their skin and face natural, beautiful and fresh.
